This weekend, during the Nadal and Federer match, the members of Joy Jaagpad Tennis Club have been informed about the definitive design of their new home.

The design is a simple 1 storey building with a large, triangular roof. The shape of the building leaves a large outdoor space to the west of the building, next to the centre court. The strudture consists of 3 simple white masses carrying a assembled wooden roof with an open beam structure. The idea of keeping the structure and the materials very simple allows for a maximum investment in a large social space. From this space, all courts are visible and all-round verandas make a slow transition between inside and outside is made.

Construction will start summer 2017.
